Our Centenary Celebrations

2021 represents a hundred years of Scouting in Cookham.  Starting as a sea scout group meeting in the old methodist chapel that is now the Spencer Gallery, we have grown into a large, successful Scout Group that plays a big part in the local community.  As part of our centenary celebrations we have launched a Friends of 1st Cookham Scout Group Facebook page where we will be sharing photos of our 100 years throughout the celebration year.  And we are planning a weekend of events over the 8th to 10th October where members past and present can join in the celebrations.  We want to use the year to build up our archive of Cookham Scout history, so if anyone has any photographs or memories to share, please send us a message using the Contact feature on this website, selecting the Centenary Celebrations option

Put your phone down and what are you left with? Just teamwork, courage and the skills to succeed.’
