1st Cookham Scout Group Centenary Weekend Celebrations 8th – 10th October 2021

There will be 3 different events to help Celebrate 1st Cookham Scouts’ Centenary

What: The first is a get together for our ex members and friends round a campfire at White Place Farm (Grid reference 899 845, What Three Words ///tape.visual.unique), a chance for them to swap memories and have a get together.  No need to book: bring your own drinks if you want one with any snacks.  When: Friday 8th October 2021 from 7.30 pm to 11pm Campfire lit at 8 pm

What: The second is an evening reception and 3 course dinner to be held at the Sir Bernard Miller Centre at the Odney Club, Odney Lane, Cookham. This is for all our friends, parents, leaders and former members, there will be a brief presentation, with the premier of our Centenary film.  There will be lots of old photos and a great chance to catch up with the friends you made at Cookham Scouts.  Tickets (priced £25 per head) are available for sale on the Group’s brand new online shop.  The shop is now on the top line menu on our home page

Bookings close Tuesday 22nd September.  Dress code: Not uniform, not formal, but smart!  A pay bar will be open on the night.  When you buy your tickets you need to choose between Pan Roasted Chicken or a Mushroom Risotto for your main course.  The starter for all will be a Caprese salad and the dessert a cheesecake.   When: Saturday 9th October 2021 from 7.30 to 12 midnight

What: The last event is a Family BBQ at White Place Farm (Grid reference 899 845, What Three Words /// tape.visual.unique ) for our friends, parents, our young members, leaders and former members.  Please email – cookham100@gmail.com with the number of people attending to help cater for the food.  Please wear Scout uniform if you have one! When: Sunday 10th October 2021 from 12.00 noon to 3 pm
