Cookham Scouts are open to boys and girls aged between 6 and 18, with a non-stop programme of adventure all the way. Everyone’s welcome here. All genders, races and backgrounds. Regardless of your child’s physical ability – there’s a Scout adventure out there waiting for them and we will help them find it.
We are lucky to have a great HQ building and all the great outdoors of Cookham to explore. We offer weekly meetings of all sections during term time plus a programme of special events at weekends, and regular camps and trips. Cookham Scouts are active in giving back to the local community and we run two of the biggest village events, the Cookham Village Fair in June and the Bonfire and Fireworks display. We have an experienced team of volunteer leaders keen to bring the Scouting adventure to as many local people as possible and there is always a friendly welcome to new adult volunteers.
